Birthday time!

This past Wednesday was my 22nd birthday. It started off at midnight when Josh gave me my present, which was a 45 min massage from the local spa like place and a cute mug that says " i need coffee!" . I loved it.. it was a perfect gift for me! Then i went to bed and was awakened by my two roommates telling me i had to get out of bed because they had a surprise for me. They blind folded me and brought me to their car. They then took my to a restaurant, where they uncovered my eyes and there was a whole table of my friends there to celebrate with me!! I was so surprised! Then I had classes, and it was such a nice day ( 45*) that me and pam went for a run outside!!!!!! I had a special meal cooked by Diane, which included roast beef, mashed potatoes, salad, corn, and grasshopper pie for dessert. It was soooo good!!!! (THANKS DIANE!) Then later that night they invited a bunch of people over for cake.. there were about 30 people here.. so that was fun to see! Pam made me too pretty cakes and my mom bought me one. It was really nice of them. Then I watched some veronica mars with Josh and went to bed. It was a really nice birthday and everyone was so kind to me. Then to top it off, on Friday josh took me on a date to Sioux Falls and we went out to eat at famous daves (YUMMY!!!) and went to a movie, (The Holiday) which was also really nice! Saturday and Sunday we had a big storm and got about a foot of snow.. which was kind of disappointing because it was just warming up a bit and all the snow was finally melting.

And everyone who gave me anything,, or sent me a card.. or even said happy birthday. THANK YOU!! :)

Finally a post from Josh

Happy Valentine's Day! Boy did I ever pick an expensive time of the year to start dating! First this then her birthday next week! What was I thinking? She's worth it, as I'm sure you all know. Well Rachel is busy studying, and I have all my homework done for the week, so I thought I should update you on my life.
So what did we do for Valentine's Day? Well I got her some flowers and made her supper. I made a (rather tasty) Cajun Chicken Linguini, and for dessert, what better than my famous Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake? She spoiled me and got me some cologne that smells awesome and some chocolate golf balls. Pretty awesome.
I led a 40 minute discussion on Insider Trading (with special attention payed to Martha Stewart) today in my Senior Seminar case. It was one of 3 big projects we have to do during the semester, so it's nice to have that done. I think it went really well, I put a lot of work into it; I think it payed off. Its kinda funny, Rachel and I start "officially" dating, then for the first 3 days we hardly get to see each other. She had a couple big tests that she studied hard for and I had this presentation that I put a lot of time into. But it'll be good the next while, I'm far enough ahead that I don't need to do MUCH homework. Of course I can always study investments and watch Bloomburg, but Rachel thinks I'm a nerd if I do that. She likes it though, she just wont admit it. But anyways, time has come for Praise and Worship. Have a great week everyone, and Kyle and Lori, keep the pictures coming! Maybe we'll come visit you the first weekend in March?

news for you

Hey you all:)
I have good news.. me and Josh are now offically dating :) This weekend we went to his house and I got to meet his parents and see where he grew up. His parents were pretty much amazing and I had a great time playing different games with them and just hanging out with them. He lives in a small town called Edgerton, Minn.. but it was a nice little place. I got to have a tour of it on his snowmobile.. which was SO much fun!! Then on the way home.. we got caught in a big snow storm.. but we had a lot of time to talk about stuff... and we finally made it offical :)

Other than that.. not much has been happening. It keeps getting colder and colder around here.. and I keep freezing and wearing more clothes. I have two tests this week, but i think I am pretty studied up for them.

Well, more information will come later!
-Rachel
( ps. sorry josh did not write too ..:) he is already in bed!)

"It's a Great Day to be Alive"

Well, its actaully Rachel here writing.. I guess I decided I did not want to be lazy and I do have some pretty exciting things going on in my life!!
As Josh has already said, in the previous post, this semester has been a very good one so far. It is sad to think that college is almost over.. only three months left. ... We are making the most out of it.. but here first is Josh's opinion of the last week I guess??--- here he is.. the one and only Josh.........

Hello all: your second favorite poster on Rachel's account here (Josh, just to clarify). Rachel sent me an intelligence test about a week ago (for those of you who took it, it was Noah on the ark, not Moses) and I got lucky and did a little bit better than her. Well then we (read as: Rachel) decided that we should take an emotional intelligence quiz. Well, apparently my emotional intelligence is a fair amount below the national average. Could that be because women design these survey's assuming that they are more emotionally intelligent than men? Maybe I'm just a little upset. But Rachel still talks to me, embarassed though she may be about her emotionally handicapped friend.
Its Super Bowl Sunday. However this year I am less excited about the Super Bowl than any other year that I can remember. Is it because my Vikings proved quite incompetant again this year? I would argue no. This year, I really wanted to see the Saints go to the Super Bowl (well, of course Seattle was my first choice, but they choked). Now all we have to watch is one of the best defenses in the league match up against one of the best offenses. That may be exciting, but the other half (when Chicago's offense is on the field), we'll be forced to watch one of the worst QBs in the league go up against a less-than-mediocre defense. Excuse me for not being excited about that. Of course the commercials will be good, they usually don't disappoint. Well, enough about that.
Quite an eventful week ahead, I have 3 tests, 2 of which should be quite easy, and the other should be very difficult. I started studying today, in hopes of feeling quite comfortable with the material by Thursday (test day) so I won't have to worry and will be able to think clearly.
Instead of Rachel telling you all, I will be honest and say that Rachel actually did beat me in bowling yesterday. Maybe that means i should give up. No, I just won't let it happen again. The day she beats me in golf though, well, nevermind, that won't happen:D.
Well I'm sure you're all eagerly waiting to hear about Friday night. I asked Rachel to go out to Sioux Falls with me. We went to the Olive Garden, out to a movie (Pursuit of Happyness), then out to Starbucks for some coffee. I hope I can speak for both of us when I say that it was a great evening. Maybe she'll let me take her out again, if I'm lucky ;)
Well, I need to get back to homework, a lot of stuff to do before the end of the week.
Its been a pleasure, have a great week.

WEll back to the main reason you read this blog.. aka ..ME, RACHEL ANNE FEUCHT! :) So the week ahead of me is going to be busy .. I have a test on thursday and then physics test on Friday. I will have to get a lot of studying in before then, I will have to make sure I cut all connections off from Josh for the week ;) . But like he said we went on a date and it went really well. He even got my a pretty rose ( as seen in the bad picture of us!!) I would go on another one if he wants to! He is an amazing guy who treats me way to well.. ( he even opens the car doors for me and gets mad if I open my own door!!)

Like he said.. I beat him at bowling,.. which is no little feat. He has been bowling since he was born, and he even has a bowling ball with his name on it!! So you would think someone this serious about bowling would be awesome at it.. but I guess I distacted him enough so that I did better than him!! YAY!! He also bowls with Diane for a class, so it is sweet of him to put up with my little sister. And about his football blurb,,I hope someone understands what he is talking about.. because I know I don't watch football!

In all, this semester has been awesome so far :)

Well, that is about it for now.... I also wanted to say happy birthday tomorrow mom, but I am sure you will hear from me ( and maybe josh!! ;) )

Hope you all have a GREAT week!!
