I forgot to mention!

IT SNOWED LAST WEEK! What kind of weather is this that it snows in April????? Now it is sunny and it is supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow so I can't complain too much! It is so nice to be able to take a walk outside or look outside and see everyone out there playing in the field! I think everyone (including me!) was in a much better mood because of the weather!
:D

Two posts in one day!!

Hello all! I was also planning to update today, but kept finding myself distracted, so I have not had the time to sit down until now!

The count down to graduation is coming close... and with that comes so many mixed feeling about the future. I keep thinking .. oh 3 months of vacation, then back to Dordt... and then I come to it and realize...I AM NOT COMING BACK!! AHH, to me that is scary.

Anyways, these past weeks have been spent figuring out my future, working hard in school, and spending some quality time with my friends.

Future: Been working on fun things like resumes and finding work. I have also been looking and applying for colleges around the area where I can train to be a Physical Therapy assistant. It is hard... soon we are going to be gone and then who knows when I will be able to see everyone again... especially Josh. :( I am going miss him lots.

School: Physics tests and papers have been coming out of my ears... I've been working hard and it has been keeping me busy!

Rest of life:
This has been a little dull but some fun things have been happening! One of my friends, Shannon, is getting married in August so the girls threw her a party, and we were able to have fun with all the girls!

That is Shannon and her fiance Brian!

I spent Easter day at Josh's family's house. His mom made a great dinner, and she also made chalupa for the first time!!! It was nice to go to his house for Easter and see his family again.

I went to the auction that Josh helped organize. It was fun because I've never been to one before and it was a unique experience. His boss and co-workers all seemed to like Josh a lot, which was neat, although I had no doubt that anyone could not help but like him.

Today one of my old roommates who graduated last year came to visit. So we went to Sioux Falls to this neat little pottery place where we were able to chose a piece of pottery and then glaze it. They then fire it for us! It was really fun and I think I might throw one of my friends' bridal party there!

Well, that is about all for now! Hope everyone is doing well! Sorry there are not many pictures to show!

The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.

Well less than a month until I am a college graduate. Wow. I can't say I haven't waited a long time to be able to be here. However it seems a little bittersweet. Yes, I will no longer have homework to do 24/7, but that will PROBABLY mean that I will have NOTHING to do besides work *assuming I get a job* for 8-10 hours a day and sleep for 6-8 hours a day. So at the least, that leaves 6 hours for me to entertain myself. Granted a lot of that time will be spent on the golf course, but I'm starting to think it might get a little lonely. Rachel will be gone, Bryan won't be around to play Mario Kart with, I don't know what I'm going to do! Hmmm...oh well.
Well this week was the worst week of my semester in terms of things to do. I had 3 interviews this week, looked at apartments in the area, had a final presentation on Wednesday (20 minute lecture on Affirmative Action and a 30 min Q/A following), the big Hope Haven auction last night (its finally over, the last month it seems like that is all I have been doing) and I've been trying to find time to do my other homework and keep all my other friends entertained too. But its all over. The interviews all went well, my presentation went really good, and the auction raised 49,000-50,000, with our goal being 50,000. So its over, and it was a success. Today I golfed for the first time in celebration of my week being over. It was my first time, so I didn't do so hot. Nothing worse than a bogey, but I had more bogey's than pars (thats a bad thing for all you non-golfers).
Oh, and I found out that I did well on my investments test that I was sorta worried about. I also get to see Caleb next weekend for baptism! WOOHOO So its all good.
BUT, my homework is calling! I thought this blog needed an update, I'll get Rachel to write soon enough too! I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the beautiful weather!
