home sweet home

hellooooo!
Well its been busy since i got back! I held my first mary kay party at home and it went really well.. very encouraging! I made some money, thanks to my sister for planning and hosting it for me.. she is the best!!

WEll here are some pics from the last days of school and at home. Oh btw i am living with my older sister sarah because my house is non-liveable.. its getting totally remodeled and every thing is covered in tarp and there is no kitchen and one bathroom.. not fun. So its been fun playing with Patrick and helping my sister and brother in law with things that need to be done! alright here are the pics

Christmas party!

As a large group of friends 4 rooms got together and had a potluck! My room baked the turkey and other rooms did other stuff. These are just some photos of the joyous occation! Now time to study for finals! Then on friday i will be home!! yAY!!

Jessica- She has her little scowl face when she listens to people.. sometimes a little scary!
Me- Always sitting there laughing.. or telling stupid stories... I am known as the tornado!
Pam- Always doing something funny.. like using a wooden spoon as a mic to sing! We will miss her so very much next semester:(
Marianne- She is always on the phone and pacing around the room!
Laura- she is best in bed--- sleeping the night and day away!
ERin - the most serious .. but has the funniest outbreaks randomly!


I love these girls so much. They each add so much in my life, they have taught me a lot this semester. They have taught me to love life, be content with what I am doing and who I am with, and just to have fun and laugh at my mistakes!

Car hooding!

Alright,tonight we did the most hickish, iowan thing I have ever done in my life but it was soo much fun! We went out at night to someone house, where we connected car lids to the back of trucks with a rope. Then we would hold on for dear life while the driver, Brent, drove though a bean field covered with 2-3 feet of snow!!! Pam and Jill, Brents girlfriend, went first and froze their eyes and faces off, then me and laura went next and got motorcycle helmets. So these are just a few pictures of one of the funnest times I had in iowa!!!

Thanksgiving break

wow., it has been a busy couple of weeks!! now i am just sitting in my room listening to christmas music as the snow falls heavy outside. While i was in class for an hour it already snowed an inch or more! Much different than last year where it did not snow at all!

Well for Thanksgiving break I went to my roommate pams house in ontario! I was going with Judy carolyn, marianne, and pam, so a car full of girls and we where leaving at 4 in the morning. So that night pam and i decided we wanted to stay up all night so we tried to. WE had Jayme over to keep us occupied for a while but then he went to bed. We where going to make crepes but then everyone else was in bed and we wanted to eat them with someone. So we just went to bed.. and going a full 1 and a half hours of sleep. WE woke up, piled into judys car and i was passed out again before we got out of sioux center! I got a lot of sleep in the car... we hit a bunch of bad traffic and in canada the storms where so bad my friend had to pull over for a while. All during the storms I was sleeping so I guess that was good because they said i would have been freaked out!! Then that week we went to a country bar and did some dancing.. met some intersting people, had some crazy fun and it was crazy all togehter. Then.. just hung around, that sunday her mom made us and her family a good thanksgiving meal,.,, even though it was not their thanksgiving. I got to see my old friend ryan too so that was nice. Then we drove home , hitting bad weather in Iowa but eventually we made it home safe.
This thanksgiving break i realized how much I have to be thankful for. i have soo many wonderful people in my life .. such as my family and my friends. I love you guys. Then all the small things I have.. like my bed, blankets, and everything.. God has always been good to me:)
WEll its about time for work.. I am going to brave the weather and walk there. Scary stuff. I hope you all are having a good day!!!

Well, I will start by telling about my weekend... it was quite fun.
WEll something happened.. lynae and jeremy broke up so we decided it was time for a girls night. We started the girls night off with going to a mary kay party ( mary kay sells makeup) It was really fun and i won a prizes so that was sweet. I have been thinking bout becoming a mary kay counsultant for a long time now so she finally convinced me to become one! I am so excited.. i got a HUGE diamond ring which i will never wear and more free make up! Then we went to NC DC and dordt won the contest which was pretty exciting. Then we watched a movie.. it was pretty good.. i actually started bawling and all the girls made fun of me!! I cant help that i get sensitive during movies ;) Then jill slept in bed with me! it was fun.. but then she said she kept waking up and our faces where facing each other like we where going kiss .. a little awkward ...sickkk

Then we got up and made crepes! we invited jills room over and had some fun. Now i am just sitting here waiting for my food to digest so i can go running and work off all my fat:)

This week was crazy busy. We had to do a huge poster for Human Anatomy and physiology class and we had to do it on anything that has to do with the body. I choice a couple topics but someone always had my topic!! i was so tried of this so then I just choose constipation.. something i know no one would have the guts to do. the teacher said i was the first student who ever chose the topic.. i felt special. The I stayed up to 4 in the morning one night and got 3 hours of sleep.. then the next day I fasted to remember all the kids around the world who dont get any food. Its amazing how much i realized by fasting.. I realized how much I take food for granted. I would always walk in the room and almost grab food then I would realize I could not eat it. We are so blessed with everything we have.. I got to learn not to take it for granted.

Anyways. this is long a boring i bet but yea:) i hope you all are having a really good day and I hope that God blesses you today!

Starting it up again

well. its 1:30 at night and i am crazy and going to start a blog again. Who knows who will actually read this but maybe it will be good for me to write stuff down. Well i am startingit again cuz someone said they would read it so hopefully he at least finds it enjoyable.;)
but i am going to end my new blog today with nothing much to say.. i will write more tomorrow :)

Sunday

Today was a pretty blah day. I went to church this morning and I really wanted to get something out of the sermon so i wrote notes today. WE learned that everything we do is either for Gods glory or for the devil. There is not neutral spot. It was alright, but there is nothing better than faith presbyterian. The sermons here are lacking compaired to Faith pres.. Oh well. I had a good talk with mic today, his views on theology are much different than mine so it was good to discuss what we believed, it helps me figure out what i believe. I have quite a bit of homework but it wont take too long to do. Mom called me this afternoon and told me about a little baby that died after living 79 mins or something, it was really heart breaking. I am glad patrick was born healthy. :)


Well, tonight we are going to watch home make over , i am excited . It is an awesome show and fun to watch. then we have gift tonight and i will go to that. Maybe I will even get to see dan tonight, I really wanna get to know him better as a friend. He is an awesome guy.

Oh yea! Last night rachel and i had a goood talk about how it is so hard to trust God when the gooding gets tough. Right now it seems like all our good friends arew hooking up and getting boyfriends and we are just stuck here with the nerds that like us. It hard to hold on to trust God. but its good to know that she feels the same way as me. I love rachel.

well i better get doing english homework!

New Day~

Today is a lazy Sat. not much to do. Right now I am just waiting for Lyane to do her hair so that we can go to the track meet. She is listening to some crazy weird music i never heard before, I want to turn it down or off but that would be mean :) I slept to 12 today, and got a lot of sleep. I have been really tired lately because I have all early moring classes so it sucks. Oh well, its good for me. Tonight jill is going on her first date with Justin, that would be fun for her. She really likes him. He is on the hockey team so we went to see him play last night and they won. Then we played some catch phrase and that was fun. everyone was making fun of me because I use my hands to try to explain things, but it was a good time. Well, I gotta get some make up so I can go to the track meet. Then I will probably do some homework and then a hockey game, then who knows what. :) hopefully its a good day!
