These are just a few pictures of the weekend and such. One picture is of my work group, then briannas wedding, then boating, then smoking the hookah. I dont know why but i have not taken any pictures of the hookah yet.. but it has been one of my favortie things this summer. It helps get people together to just talk and have a good time:) SO hey you go! enjoy the pictures!

best weekend ever!!

This has been one of the best weekends ever!! Yesterday was my friend Brianna’s wedding, which Pam invited me to as her date. It was an outside wedding on dordt’s campus. It was small but really pretty. The funny thing was that they wanted to serve wine at the wedding because someone donated some for their present. Well, Since dordt is a dry campus they had to have the wine in the neighbor's yard which was like 20 feet away!! The reception was nice, different than a wedding that I have ever been to. There was a dance then later that night which most people left for. It would be fun to have a dance at my wedding but I don’t think anyone at my church would like that. we'll have to see about that:) Then today I was soo excited to sleep in. Then at 10 I was woke up to a call from my friend paul asking if i wanted to go boating!! so we went to the lakes which are an hour away and a bunch of us go to go water skiing and tubing! It was my first time for both of these so it took me a while to get used to it. I never really got up water skiing but each of my tries i got better and better. we were on the water for a good six hours! Then we came home and went to see me, you and depree, which is a pretty funny movie. Then we finished up the night smoking the hookah! Other than that life has been good for me. I have not loaded any pictures lately so I will load them and post sime pictures of the lake and other things. :) I hope everyone is doing well!!!

another post!

Its been much to long, so I thought it was about time that I post again! WEll, a couple weekends ago Pam, Shannon, Ashley, and I went to Des Moines to visit my parents, who where on a trip. Driving there was really scary because we got stuck in a terrible storm and could not see anything in front of us! WE had to stop a couple of times within the first 30 mins to wait the the rain to die down. Then we were really thankful went we got though the rain clouds to clear sky the rest of the way there! It was really nice to see my parents again. I am very thankful for them! My friends also loved them.. and they still try to say my name the way my dad says it with a little roll in the R.:) We were able to get out and go shopping .. something that we don't get to do much in this small town, with the nearest city being an hour away. I got to see my dad on Father's day which was also a treat! Then the next week I went to sioux falls with pam for a girls bacholrette party. it was pretty fun, I got to meet some nice people. They dressed brianna up pretty funny...:) That sunday then was the best sunday ever! WE went to church then came home to play Frisbee.. then we were hot so we decided to make a slip and side. WE taped painting tarp the the grass, poured some soap on it , then go the hose and kept it wet! It worked really well! Then the next day everyone who did it was really sore.. it was so hard to walk! Then this weekend we just have been chilling out. Yesterday we got tubes and we floated down this river for 5 hours! The water was pretty gross.. there was even a dead cow in the water!!!! It was go sickening , but it was a very good time.. something I have never ever done before! I think we are going to do it next week again! Tomorrow I have off work so we are going to the big place for the 4th of july and go camping! It will be fun, we will spend a couple of nights there. Anyways.. thats about it for now! not so much to say

Hello! there is not much going on in my life lately.. This weekend I went to my friends house and just hung out for a while. Then on sat. we went to sioux falls and went shopping then went out to eat. we then went to her house and spent the night there. We went to church in the morning then we cooked lunch and went back home. It was relaxing! This weekend we are all going to des moines to see my parents and go shopping. We are all really excited to go.

YEE HAA!!

This weekend I had a lot of fun! It was "sioux center Days" so they had a lot of activites around town. I got to go crusing around town in a fancy car.. my friend has a really nice trans am.. so we got to show it off with all the rest of the nice cars! Then on Sat. we went to the rodeo and watched all the cowboys! It was a lot of fun. Then we all made plans to go to des moines to see my parents in two weeks. That will be really exciting and all the girls are excited to go. Some boys might even come with but we are not sure yet. It is really fun living in Iowa, but it is also hard without a car. Some of my friends and I were thinking about buying a beat up cheap $100 car.. but I don't know how that would go over.. it might break too much! :) For now we stick to our somewhat usable bikes... :) These are just some pics of the nice car i got to ride in and others of the rodeo and whatnot during the weekend!

My summer!

This has been very fun! At first I went home and saw my family and some friends for a little while. It was nice seeing my parents, sister, nephew, and brother in law. Then I came back here to Iowa where I am working and hanging out. Work has been hard, I have to do hard work and my body is not used to it. However, after this weekend camping, I am ready for the next week! This weekend we went camping at some famous lakes around here. We were able to go boating, ride paddle boats , have a camp fire, see some friends, and just had a really good time. Tomorrow we have off so we are going to the pool to tan ! Here are some pictures of this summer so far! I miss you all at home.. and I am sad I can't be there:(

hey ! we went to Bob's bar yesterday and it was a lot of fun. its the largest hick place in the world,,,, family's bring thier children and you get the largest servings of food ever.. it was awesome. Here is some pictures there... :) you can also see my short hair cut~

a long awaited post!

Well, It has been quite a while since i have post anything on this blog so I thought i will give a quick update of my life. This week I got a job at dordt for the summer so I officially going to live here this summer. That is going to be really fun and I am excited for it. I am going to live with some of my close friends so that will make this summer even more awesome. At home during I summers I usually do not have the chance or the mean ( a car) to do anything, so just being at dordt this summer I will be able to make money and actually have friends near by.

Well its been two weeks since spring break has been over... and it was one of the most awesome times. We went to texas in my friend's parents mini van. It was such a fun time.. we were always busy doing crazy stuff... like going to tour Forth Worth, Dallas, Cow town, and many other places. We went to six flags for a day and went on some pretty scary roller coasters!! WE also ate some of the best food ever... I gained a million pounds there but it was worth it. In all, it was a really awesome break and I am so thankful for my relatives that went way out of their way for us! Now its time to plan a spring break for senior year that will top this one! that might be a little hard!!!!

School has been really busy,, just trying to keep the grades up. I am having lots of problems in microbiology. It is such a hard class and I have no motivation to try very hard in that class because I am not really interested in it! Who knows.. i hope I will get a good grade in it:S

Not much else to report.. Tonight I am going to Bob's bar in Nebraska, which is a hick bar kinda thing where the whole town ( children included) go and waste away time there. They serve very greasy food for dirt cheap.. in huge quantities. The fries or cheese stinks are piled a mile high.... the guys really go crazy here!

Anyways. Its a nice day so I am going to refrain from studying a little while to go on a walk! I hope everyone is doing well! Here are just a couple pictures of what I have been up to!

Texas!

Right now I am in texas for spring break! Three friends and I drove 13 hours to come to my aunt linda and uncles seans house. It has been awesome, they are the nicest people I know. WE have had a lot of fun swimming, sitting in the sun, garage saling, hanging out with my cousins and we are planning on doing a lot more later in the week! I am so excited to be here and it is a good break from school! I hope everything is going well with everyone else!
