Sad day at dordt
Monday- Driving home from Thunderbay the girls and I were talking about how we never see ambulances around Sioux Center and how nothing really terrible goes on around Dordt.
Wed. morning- read my brothers blog about gravestones and the actions in our life determining what happens when we die. Talked to Pam for a good while about this pondering how we could die any day and we need to remember God as the focus of our life.
Wed. 4:30- Got out of work, could see Dordt and an ambulance pull out and heard the sirens and horns honking all the way down the street.
Wed. 5:30- talked to Brian bouma, who was there when the kid was passed out on the ground. He said he had no pulse when they took him away, but I figured the doctors could use thier cures to make him better. Besides he was only a freshman and way to young to die.
Wed. night- Got an email that he died after playing racketball which he said on his webpage was his favorite new thing.
Wed. 10:00- had a prayer service for him
Wed. after- talked to one of my friends who saw the kid being put on the stretcher and saw his ghostly white arm flop off. He kinda knew he was dead.
Its really sad how fast a life could go. I feel for his family who is in California who were anxious for him to get home from his first semester of college.
I did not even know Jon, but he reminded me of an important lesson. This life is not my own, but I belong to Christ. Therefore, I have to live my life in accordance to him, so that when I die I will be ready to see my Savior. I also want everyone to know that I died loving my Savior up to my very last breath.

Thunderbay!!
This thanksgiving break I took off and went to canada! I have a friend that lives on a cheese farm so I went to see how they make the gouda cheese and see her little dutch store. Her parents both came from holland 25 years ago and they both have heavy accents. I could not understand her dad at all, so it was pretty funny trying to figure out what he was saying to me. She also lives in a trailer while her family builds a new house so that was quite fun living in that! Here are some pictures of my time there, so of us working on the cheese farm making cheese curds and flipping the cheese and the others of thunderbay!

Nothing to new!
Not a lot has been happening here... I just had a busy couple weeks of test so that now I have nothing to do because I am starting new units in almost all my classes. This weekend was very low key, I went to the nursing home to play bingo with some old folks for a class. It is every interesting about how you almost have to treat them like they are children. It will be depressing being that old. It was good.. something that I would never really do unless I had to. :) Otherwise nothing else is new.. I will post a couple pictures of my cowgirl outfit for a costume party!

emo!!
This weekend I went to Emo Ontario, to my friends house and cabin. At first I did not really think I should go because I should do extra studying for physics and calc. but somehow they managed to make it so I had no choice but to go!! So we went on a ten hour trip straight through min. to ontario. WE made it there at 2 in the morning, so we just went right to bed. When I was there I was able to go on four wheeler rides, shoot guns at targets and make it on my 4th try, canoeing, fishing, boating, had a couple bon fires, had a canadian thanksgiving meal, and we were just able to do a bunch of fun exciting things! here are some pictures of the weekend~

Much needed post!!
WEll, this semester has been very busy.. which means I have had no time to write in this blog. However, now I will try hard to keep everyone updated despite the busyness! Well, this semester I have been taking the hardest classes ever, both Physics and calculus. They have been very challenging so far and I have had to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what the heck is happening. Slowly I am getting it, with the help of tutors and many engineering friends who are more than eager to help me with this "easy" stuff :) . For work, I still get to work with the little kids, right now they are 6-12 months old. It is really fun to work there because it is a break from the regular college life. Living this year is awesome! WE get to live in the seniors apartments which are huge apartments, with walk in closets and much more room than all the other places we have lived in at dordt. .... What else is new... not a whole lot. This weekend I might go to my friends farm and work with the pigs but we are not sure about that. The weather here has been cold and rainy but today was nice and warm. I hope it stays like that for a while!!!
WEll thats all I got to say for now, here are a couple pictures that I have!! I will have to start taking more because this is all i got! The one of my friend Dave and the cake was from our coffee, cake, and hookah party! WE made the cake the night before and made it so it did not get missed up by putting sticks in it and putting the covering over the sticks. funny and dumb i know!
i hope everyone is doing well, I will write more when more happens!!:)

long time been
Heelllllloooooooo!! it has been a long time since I have last posted so I figured it was about time! Not much has gone on in the last little while since I posted actually. The most important thing that happened was that I became an aunt again to samuel jacob!! He was born on diane's birthday... a little early. I cant wait to go home in 2 weeks so I can meet him and see my family again! Then I also went water skiing one sat. and then wakeboarding one Sunday! It was fun get to be on a boat and try to water ski and wake board (which I am not good at either one). This summer has been like the summer I have always dreamed of. I get to see my friends a lot, I work hard during the day, and I have been able to focus on many things which I need to. One of these things is my future....: S I have been looking up what it takes to be a physical therapy assistant and it seems like a job that I would love to have! It would take about 2 years of community college/ trade school kind of thing, but I have already had all the requirements that I need to. I was thinking about moving somewhere different, like Arizona, and getting involved with a church and school and starting my life new somewhere different. Or I can move to somewhere around my home and go to a college I found in Auburn Washington. There are so many options out there for me; I just need to find out what I want to do.
Well enough of that boring stuff... let’s get to the pictures!!!!! Here we go!
but wait.. the pics dont work so I will have to show you all them later!! Sorry:S This weekend I am finally going to go camping and I am really excited so I should have more pictures by then!!
